If you’ve already got a blog and you’re wondering what to do next, then you’re in the right place.

Welcome to Blog 2.0! We’re Amy and Nicole, and we’re professional bloggers with nearly 20 years of experience between us. We’ve created this site to help you choose the best products and services to grow your online business.

What is Blog 2.0?

Over the years, we’ve bought nearly every online blogger product and service. We’re sorry to say that we’ve wasted at least as much money as we’ve spent well. We’ve dedicated ourselves to providing you with honest, unbiased reviews of the tools you might be considering purchasing. Before you buy, let us try—and learn from our successes and failures.

We’ll always provide you with as much information about each product and service as we can find. As of right now, our blog is ad-free, but each review will contain an affiliate link. If you decide to purchase the product or service after reading our review, we do ask that you click through our affiliate link. That’s the only way to support this free service, and it won’t cost you anything extra. Please see our disclosure policy here.

In each review, we’ll also disclose the affiliate structure. Transparency and honesty are very important to us. Most online reviews you’ll find of products and services are nothing but shills for an affiliate fee. We’re a completely different sort of review site. We’re the sort of review site we have wished for ourselves over the years.

Who’s Amy?

Amy is Amy Anderson. She’s a freelance writer, craft designer and blogging entrepreneur. Her work has been featured in Huffington Post, Better Homes & Gardens, Woman’s Day, Wired and Design*Sponge, among others. Amy currently runs three successful craft blogs with a combined 1 million+ monthly page views per month. She also designs creative projects for large brands and writes craft books. Her first title, Mod Podge Rocks, was in the top 10 craft books on Amazon.com for 2012. Her second title Washi Tape Crafts was released in late 2015. Her first product line, Mod Podge Rocks, was released in Michaels in early 2014.

As a blogger, Amy truly believes that anyone can learn to be creative, and she can show them how to get started. Her audience is a very loyal and powerful group of women and mothers. They depend on her for the best in creative project ideas and tutorials, with a little bit of humor and some fun stories in between.

Who’s Nicole?

Nicole is Nicole Hunn. She’s the author of the Gluten-Free on a Shoestring cookbook series and blog, which has been featured in the New York Times and MSN Money. Her work has appeared in Better Homes and Gardens, Parents magazine, Parade magazine, and Epicurious.com. She lives in Westchester County, New York with her husband, 3 children, 3 dogs and a cat.

Nicole has been writing a gluten free food blog since 2009 and gluten free cookbooks (5 in all!) since 2011. Most recently, she’s created self-directed online courses and other products that teach readers how to cook and bake gluten free. Nicole doesn’t do any real sponsored work, so all of that knowledge will come from Amy. She buys lots and lots of online products and services, though, and is ready to tell the real truth about what works and what doesn’t.

We’re so glad you’re here. Remember—before you buy, let us try!
